High school grandkids needed to know the basics
Has great basic information for youth and some adults. It can give you a good foundation in understanding the science of physics and relations to the cosmos.
I found this text is a good introduction to reasoning and methods used by astronomers from ancient Greeks to the Middle ages.
Would recommend this text to Middle and High School physics students.
Best part - it's free.
